WE ARE HIS BELOVED
We have a great God who cares for His beloved children. We have a testimony to encourage all of you!
Our youngest son, Joshua who is 14 years old was playing football with his friends and during a bad tackle (I thought they were playing a rubgy game!!!) he broke his left shoulder, firstly inside the socket (difficult to see for an inexperienced eye) and secondly his humerus was badly broken and displaced on the top part of the bone (very obvious on the X-ray above)... a Hospital visit followed... X-rays done, and then a cast was placed on his arm to put it in traction so hopefully the two parts of the bone will come back close to each other. Then we had to wait for a week to know if the two part of the bone were close enough. If they did not move closer, an operation will be needed to insert a few pins to help the bone be restored.
Meanwhile... We were getting ready for a conference...
We left the next day for the planned Connection Between Israel and The Church Conference in Whitby. Our teenagers we doing the worship with Grant Marshall and Joshua was the wounded soldier!
UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS WINGS
The conference was powerful, everybody made a fuss of Joshua with his broken shoulder!... On the Saturday night Joshua went under the Chuppah for prayer (We used the prayer shawl, Tallit as a Tabernacle, God's dwelling place where the Lord ministers to His people ...) and we prayed for him.
Back home the week went on as normal, Josh's shoulder was still bruised... The following Thursday, Joshua had a hospital appointment... X-ray again... Doctor's consultation again... The Doctor said to Joshua: "Do you want to see a magic trick?" And he showed him the X-ray... The bone was perfectly restored! See the second X-ray above (you can see the shadow of the cast which was still on his arm at the time of the second X-ray). The Doctor was amazed and I exclaimed: "Praise the Lord!" And the Doctor said: "You are right, you can say, Praise the Lord!"
It was amazing to see that the bone was perfect! A beautiful bone all straight! God is a GOOD GOD. His kindness endures forever. We don't know when the healing happened but we know that it happened! Thank you Lord!
Now the funny thing was that the bone was healed and perfect but the bruises were still there for a few days reminding Josh of his bad tackle... Our God is awesome!
There is healing under His wings... Healing is available to everyone...
"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear, then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of hte Lord will be your rear guard." Isaiah 58:8
"With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." Psalm 91:16
